The 2022 final harvest prices for corn, soybeans and sunflowers were announced late last week. The spring price and fall harvest price for these crops are as follows:
Corn & Sunflower fall prices were higher than the spring price; therefore, those of you with Revenue Protection will receive the higher fall price in the event of a loss. Also please note you will need to come in below your original bushel guarantee to trigger a loss.
On the other hand soybeans came in slightly lower than the spring price so your guaranteed bushels will increase 3.63% as it takes more bushels to make up your spring revenue guarantee.

Corn Increase Price Example:
Corn APH = 160 bu./Acre
Coverage Level = 75%
Guaranteed bu./Acre = 120 bu.
Spring Rev. Guarantee = $708 (120 x $5.90)
Fall Rev. Guarantee = $823 (120*$6.86)
**Due to an increase fall price the above guarantee increased by $115/acre
Example: If you harvested 115 bushels per acre your indemnity would be 5 bu. x $6.86 = $34.30/Acre

Soybean Decrease Price Example:
Soybean APH = 40 bu./Acre
Coverage Level = 75%
Guaranteed bu./Acre = 30 bu.
Spring Rev. Guarantee = $430 (30 bu. x Spring Price of $14.33)
Harvest Bushel Guarantee = $430/Harvest Price of $13.81 = 31.1 bushels
**Due to a decrease fall price the bushel guarantee increased to 31.1 bu/acre as it takes more bushels to make up the price decline.
Example: If you harvested 25 bushels per acre your indemnity would be 6.1 bu. x $13.81 = $84/Acre
